Works with a team and effectively across team boundaries and organizational levels to provide customer-first technical support for key IT assets, including end-user assets, networks, security systems, communication systems, etc. May provide support in-person or virtually. Occasionally provide after hour, holiday and weekend support. Understands, executes and helps define IT process and standards, including change/incident management, software installation, configuring, etc. Proactively enforces worldwide and local security policies to ensure IT information assets are protected. Required to lift/move technical equipment.

How You'll Create Impact

  • Provide direct customer support for Zimmer Biomet IT assets

  • Execute and help define IT processes and standards

  • Enforce global/local security policies

  • Fully document IT support issues and their resolution for increased team efficiency in meeting customer needs

  • Assist other IT staff in various IT projects, as needed

Your Background

  • High School or General Education diploma with 4+ years’ experience in computer maintenance and support OR an Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field with 2+ years’ experience in computer maintenance and support experience is required; a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred

  • Technical IT certifications preferred

  • May be required to lift/move technical equipment

  • Valid driver’s license required will support multiple facility locations.
