What You Can Expect

As a Research Engineer (m/w/d), you will be in charge of the maintenance of mechanical testing facilities and equipment and the execution and documentation of mechanical tests that provide supporting evidence for safe and effective orthopaedic medical devices according to applicable regulations.

How You Create Impact

  • Managing the efficient mechanical testing of orthopaedic medical devices

  • Maintaining all mechanical testing facilities and equipment

  • Establishing and maintaining positive collaborative relationships with internal cross-functional partners (e.g. product development)

  • Creating and reviewing all testing related documentation

  • Maintaining working procedures that ensure all activities are well controlled and documented

  • Contributing to efforts for continuous improvement in systems, procedures, and efficiency

What Makes You Stand Out

You have a proven track record in mechanical testing and/or in a laboratory environment, ideally in the medical devices industry.

In addition, you have a good command of common office software tools (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Acrobat) and in quality systems. You have a good knowledge of German and English languages.
